The Flax Pod Cabin is a self-catering accommodation at 11 Mockingbird Ridge, Golden Bay, Pōhara, set inside a repurposed shipping container with views of Golden Bay. It has a queen bed, sofa and kitchenette, plus a hot tub and a sun-soaked deck reached through bi-folding doors, opening onto sea views. Guests can relax in a hammock and often see weka on site.

Beautiful views from a cute and very comfortable place to stay :) Tui were sitting in the Flax just a couple of metres from where we were having our breakfast inside the Pod - just lovely. Ohhhhhh and don't forget the delightful solar powered hot tub !!! We had a wonderful stay in the Flax Pod, thanks very much.
