The Havens, Motueka River Valley

We loved this place! The owners were helpful but left us alone during our stay. I was able to feed the llamas and sheep in the morning and watched the owners interact with them at other times. The dogs are quite happy and excited to see you if from the other side of their fence. The chickens and other fowl are beautiful to see. The farm is quaint in size but also easy to reach. The B&B is ideally located with amazing views. We recommend buying your dinner at the store and bringing it back to cook. We had eggs from the farm and then bought yogurt and fruit to have with the farm’s bread, musli, and spreads. The bed is comfortable and the use of a washing machine was perfectly timed after 1-week. They don’t have cable so we watched a program that was already downloaded on our iPad in the evenings.

There was totally nothing to fault about this slice of heaven we were going to sneak away for a child free weekend but ended up bringing our daughter they set out a pull out bed for her on arrival we were greeted we had fresh bread eggs and scones and orange juice for breakfast the spa was just to die for the view was amazing and with all this rain we have had meant we could be outside Sue even took time out of her busy morning to let my daughter go down to her farm and feed some of the sheep we will definitely be back thank you so much

Awesome place to stay, unbeatable view from the outside deck which is super enjoyable from the available spa. Hosts are great and happy to help out in any way, they even provide fresh baked bread every day!!! All in all a great retreat to enjoy a relaxed holiday at. (They also have a great bushwalk available if you're interested).
