Triple Tui Bed and Breakfast

We are 4 cyclists on the Kahurangi 500 route, and found Triple Tui to be in the right location for us. It’s a beautiful one bedroom house (2 fold down sofas in the lounge), with kitchen/cooking facilities, hot shower, and fantastic fire box and drying rack for all our wet clothes. Thanks Steve, we loved your place!

We stayed at the Triple Tui log cabin New Years Eve 2020 – New Years Day 2021. We were greeted by the owners, and we carried out bags across the swing bridge to the cabin. Lovely spot. There was a steady breeze on the first day and the sandflies weren't bothering us, on the second day there was only a slight breeze and the sandflies found it easier to track us down – take the correct protection and you'll have a lovely time like we did. We walked up the Hope River for a few hours until we reached an impassable waterfall. The off-grid log cabin was very quiet, solar hot water, hydroelectric power from the river, and no internet or mobile reception made for a lovely escape.
