Waitapu Springs B&B

I came to Takaka to climb with my boyfriend. When I say this was a gem to stumble upon, it would be an understatement. If my boyfriend and had camping gear or a camper van hang dog would have been cool but I don’t think it would have been as relaxing or as pleasurable. The room and bathrooms were so clean and the spa was so relaxing especially after a day of climbing. And to wake up exhausted and to have this sweet couple making breakfast for us was just god sent. I’m so happy we stayed here. If we come to the south again this will be a spot to return to.

We had a wonderful experience at Waitapu Springs. My husband and I spent about two hours in the spa, and it was incredibly relaxing. The facilities are great, the atmosphere is peaceful, and everything felt very well maintained. On top of that, the price is excellent for what you get. Highly recommended!

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The hosts are fantastic, the place is beautiful, and the breakfast - OMG. If you don’t stay here when you’re passing through, you’re missing out.

What a fantastic stay 😍. We loved our one night here after running the Heaphy track. Brilliant place to recover with wonderful spa facilities. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and one of the family. Serge and Marie's hosting is exceptional. The whole place was immaculate, beds were comfortable and breakfast was amazing with homemade bread and preserves as well as eggs, muesli and all important coffee! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would stay here again if passing through.

Have been recommend this wonderful place from a friend. I have been three nights here and already from the beginning I felt very welcome in the familiar athmosphere with Marie and Serge. I felt to be at home and have explored the area also with nice hikings they recommendet to me. Thank you To you both!
