Waterfront by Toad Hall

This was stunning. We had fish and chips for lunch. Shared a plate as it was plenty for both of us. The chips were perfect: a bit of crunch and soft in the middle. The fish had a light beer batter and was also delicious. The view over Kaiteriteri beach was just stunning. Thoroughly recommend it!

Perfect place by the beach at Kaiteriteri. Excellent staff who are on working holiday and super friendly. The food is excellent and of good proportion and very tasty. We are on holiday here and have come a number of times. If your looking for a great coffee and a scone then why not try them out yourself taste and see that this place is great. Next time we're here on holiday we will definitely be coming here to partake of the great food and coffee/tea. Toilets are available which are kept clean.

Delicious takeaway fish and chips - a full priced restaurant meal (not your average takeaways fish and chips) but to take away, including delicious battered gurnard, delicious fries, delicious salad (gets better as you get through it to the seeds and nuts at the bottom), tartare sauce and lemon. My wife and I shared one portion for lunch (comes with 2 bits of fish). A great option for takeaways when Gone Burgers is closed for the winter.

I strongly advise to try the lamb flatbread, it was delicious and delicate, and we tried the karaage chicken burger, it was lovely and crispy. Service brilliant they were all very smiley and friendly. Atmosphere 4 because there were a wedding party and was a bit noisy but the guys handled very well.

Lovely lamb flatbread and sweet potato fries. Great atmosphere and would highly recommend. Came here for flat white and date scones too. Lovely!
