About

Weka Peckers Recycling is a family-run reuse and recycling depot at Lower Moutere, near Motueka, bought by Merv and Ricarda in October 2020. The business sells secondhand goods such as furniture, tools, and building materials, and recycles e-waste. It also offers building deconstruction, recovering rimu flooring, timber, doors and windows, plus consultancy and education on waste minimisation.

Reviews

An Emporium of delights. Hard to go away empty handed. You can also drop off quality items for others to enjoy. Just don't try and dump your junk as they will rightly send you up the road to the tip if they can't re-sell it.

I drop by only about once a year when I've got some free time, or I need something very specific. But the selection here is amazing and I could spend an hour just looking for hidden treasures. The prices are reasonable and the staff very helpful. Great place to shop to keep more things out of the waste system.

Lots of variety, this place was much bigger than I initially thought. Some things are priced well, others are a little high. Very friendly staff.

Shop is set up nicely in a quaint location. Could invest in a garden area to improve the area. Reasonable prices, wide variety of things to buy. Affectionately known as Mariri Mall or Mitre eleven.
