A hidden gem in Golden Bay. This place features beautiful gardens, peaceful walks around the property, and stunning views of the rocky hills. It’s just 5 minutes from the beach and 20 minutes from the Anatori River. Even the drive there is part of the experience, with incredible views along the Whanganui Inlet. The hosts are two wonderful, warm people who make you feel right at home. Don’t miss the honey they sell—it’s absolutely delicious. A great spot if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy nature.

Beautiful spot, lovely hosts, and all-you-need accommodation for a self-catered stay. We stayed with a 9m old baby and got a portacot provided and even had a baby bath given to us as we forgot ours. Amazing bird life. Local honey is a bonus!

This is a truly magical place. Sally and Giff a wonderful hosts. We loved the nighttime visit to the gloworm grotto and the amazing night sky without light pollution. They have a wonderful garden and keep bees producing delicious honey. The house has a lovely atmosphere and is very comfortable.

It's a remote and pollution-free protected area away from the hustle and bustle. It's not far from the coast, there's no light pollution, and the stars at night are beautiful. The downside is that there are a lot of mosquitoes, and the bites are very itchy. You must wear long sleeves, long pants, and socks to avoid being covered with buds.
