What a ride! Don't hesitate, this is truly a wonderful experience in the most beautiful area of the South Island following the Great Tastes Trail. Highlights? Way too many to choose! Each day provided new views, new adventures, new memories and a load of 'wow' moments. All our accommodation was just out of this world and well placed to access all the areas had to offer. Our tour guide Nicky provided a personal, local (always go local!) and expert service which included great equipment & bikes, easy to follow directions, pre booked fabulous accommodation, excellent & responsive communication all delivered with a friendly smile. Do yourself a favor - get riding fit, bike savvy & bring an adventurous spirit to make the most of what is on offer. Take all the side trips, add some extra days, clock up some kms and have an amazing time!

Wheelie Fantastic are fabulous. We’ve used a range of tour operators over the years, and Wheelie are the best, nothing was a problem, everything was a pleasure. From the outset Nicky listened to what we wanted, offered a range of solutions, and helped us book a great holiday. A week or so from the start of our Great Taste Trail ride, Nicky got back in touch with some info - not too much, just enough to build anticipation and keep us on the right path as we packed. On the day of departure, Nicky was right on time. The bikes were perfect. Nicky was very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed to set off - including 2 small sachets of Pic’s peanut butter, a thoughtful touch. Our accomodation each day was superb - perfectly matching availability to our requirements. The trip notes for each day were comprehensive, and easy to follow. We enjoyed a lovely ride. On the last two days of our ride, New Zealand was smashed by heavy rain. Nicky was on the front foot offering advice/contingencies, ultimately shuttling over the 2 days at no extra cost. The Great Taste Trail is a lovely ride, spanning coastal and rural scenery. Our holiday was made perfect by the organisation and management by Wheelie Fantastic. I highly recommend Wheelie Fantastic to anyone who wants to ride the Nelson region.

Wheelie Fantastic offered exactly what we needed for a supported and problem-free cycle tour of Mapua and Nelson. Nicky was friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and professional. The bikes were in great condition and cycling was absolutely the best way to experience this beautiful area. The tracks were well sign posted and a good combination of scenic and accessible. We were well supported by the tour guide and maps from Wheelie Fantastic, and Nicky was always just a phone call away. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this tour company, have booked with them twice now. We spent 4 days on the GTT and it was perfect. Nicky was very friendly, always on time and offered a lot of great advice about the trail itself, food options and the region in general. Our accommodation was also great.

The cycling on the Great Taste Trail took longer than expected, we had to keep stopping to take pictures. The cycling was good and Wheelie Fantastic did a fantastic job of bringing it together for us, they were friendly and helpful from the first contact. I am happy to recommend them.
