Golden Bear Brewing Company

We went to see Kaletta band and the staff was amazing. All the guys were lovely and very knowledge about the beer. It was a very busy day and was sunny and raining and all chaotic as the rain made the music stop and all the equipment moved inside. Was cut a bit short but we enjoy to the fullest. Again the staff as bussy as it was, remain calm and smiling. The nachos we're massive and tasty. Keep the good work !!!

I called in today for a beer and lunch with 2 mates, after biking from Nelson and taking the ferry over. The staff were fun and friendly, and the beer and food were exceptional. And the whole vibe of the place is relaxed and easy going. I will definitely be back again soon. Muchas gracias Golden Bear! 🙂

Golden Bear Brewing have really good Lager, Pilsner, IPA, Hazy pale ale selection. Mapua Wharf have great craft beer place. Mapua Wharf have plenty of food and shop options . If you are tourist and visiting Nelson, Able Tasman, this is a must visit location. Beers are great and outdoor sitting and indoor have great views of the bay and harbour.

Stunning brewery. Good service and hospitality. Beer is fresh and flavorful. Had the esb and the hazy and both were good. They have growler. Rigger fills as well

Fabulous microbrewery and restaurant on the wharfside. Good and tasty portions. Live music in the afternoons, and the place was hopping!
