About
Townshend Brewery is a craft brewery and tap room in Riwaka, Tasman District, founded in 2005 by Martin Townshend in Motueka. Beers are brewed with Nelson hops, Motueka water and traditional, naturally fermented methods, without forced carbonation. The brewery was named Champion NZ Brewery and Manufacturer of the Year in 2014. The tap room serves beer and alcohol on site and offers wheelchair accessible parking and entrance.
